Role Summary

This role is key to shaping the user experience of our products, guiding the design and product teams with actionable insights. The main focus for a UX Researcher is to lead strategic research efforts and ensure an in-depth understanding of our users’ needs, behaviors, and motivations plus support the product development team.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Insight Development: Plan and conduct cross-domain strategic UX research studies. Translate complex research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that inform product strategy, feature development, and the product roadmap planning.
• Lead Research Initiatives: Plan, conduct, and oversee qualitative and quantitative user research efforts including usability testing, in-depth interviews, surveys, contextual inquiries, and field studies.
• Help the Design team to conduct tactical UX Research studies, to support the design of roadmap committed items. This includes supporting designers to plan and conduct usability tests and interviews. Or leading evaluative and discovery studies yourself.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align research objectives with product and business goals.
• Research Mentorship and Advocacy: Mentor Product Designers and PMs. Promote UX research best practices and methodologies across the organization. Educate stakeholders about the basics of UX Research.
• Turn findings into actionable insights: Analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to deliver clear, concise, and compelling insights. Present findings and insights to cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Help to maintain and improve the UX Research framework: Contribute to refine and maintain the research frameworks, processes, and toolkits to enhance the efficiency and impact of the UX team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in UX research
• Proficiency in English
• Experience with both qualitative and quantitative UX Research techniques
• Experience in leading UX research studies independently
• Experience with UX Research tools such as Dovetail, UserTesting etc
• Experience working in a product company is a plus
• Experience with ResearchOps is a plus
• University diploma is a plus
