Role Overview
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in EMEA and drive growth in this key market. This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on selling, perfect for someone eager to lead a high-performing team while actively contributing to revenue generation.
The EMEA Sales Manager will manage a team of 3 Account Executives and mentor the BDR Lead, with potential oversight of EMEA-based BDRs as the team scales. Reporting to the Global Head of Sales based in the US, you’ll collaborate closely with global teams to align on strategy, share best practices, and achieve company-wide goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 3 Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team meetings, and pipeline reviews to ensure accountability and progress.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development to enhance selling skills and product knowledge.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the EMEA sales team.
Revenue Growth
- Own and drive the EMEA revenue target, balancing team leadership while also holding a personal sales quota, too.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand Colossyan’s presence in the EMEA market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Partner with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and initiatives to generate leads.
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with the Global Head of Sales to align EMEA strategy with global objectives.
- Provide regular updates on team performance, market trends, and key opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, product, customer success) to ensure a seamless customer journey.
- Represent the EMEA market in global sales discussions and share feedback on product and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with at least 1-2 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven Success: A track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
- Leadership Skills: Experience managing and developing sales teams, with a focus on coaching and performance improvement.
- Hands-On Approach: Willingness to balance team management with active selling and client engagement.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and adapt strategies to achieve goals.
- Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), sales tools, and a good understanding of AI or video tech is a plus.
