The Role

The Senior Platform Engineer role combines DevOps, Cloud Engineering and general Backend Engineering responsibilities. The employee will use their experience in building and managing infrastructure in various scales. The Platform Engineer is an analytical individual who will take ownership of major components of our internal infrastructure ensuring they operate resiliently and in a high available setup, continually seeking opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain our infrastructure

• Maintain and develop the core video generation component that is responsible for delivering video using AI

• Collaborate with research team to integrate cutting-edge AI technology in our product

• Participate in architectural decisions that impact the future directions of our infrastructure

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our business, products, and customer needs and improve our architecture accordingly

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Cloud / DevOps / Platform Engineer or in a related position

• Proficient in at least one popular programming language (Go and Python preferred)

• Knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services (primarily EKS, IAM, S3)

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

• Experience with GitOps practices (Flux)

• Experience in maintaining CICD pipelines (Github Actions)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
